Abstract
► A bilayer ceramic separator has been formed on an anode directly. ► Cells with this bilayer ceramic separator show good cycling performance at room temperature. ► Cells with this bilayer separator also show excellent rate capability. ► The ceramic layer in the bilayer separator enabled a high thermal stability.
