Abstract
► A new method, electrothermal impedance spectroscopy (ETIS), is introduced. ► First measurements on a pouch-type lithium-ion cell are shown. ► ETIS is performed in time-domain and in frequency-domain and results are compared. ► Heat stimulus is generated, avoiding additional sensors and yielding high accuracy.
