Abstract
A new chiral structure solid, {Co(H2N(CH2)2NH2)3}[V3O9] · H2O (1), containing vanadium oxide chains propagated by a two-fold screw axis is synthesized and characterized. The [{V3O9}3â]n chains in 1 host dissymmetric {Co(H2N(CH2)2NH2)3}3+ species which may be viewed as an optically active template.
