Abstract
Calcium, strontium and barium β-ketoiminates based on the Nâ²,Nâ²-di(isopropyl)aminoethylamino-2-penten-4-onate ligand (LiPr) were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, NMR and by single crystal X-ray diffraction for the strontium derivative. The latter is a linear trimer with six-coordinate strontium atoms and all ligands in a μ,η2-bonding mode. The amine functionality remained pendant.
