Abstract
A new polyoxoanion-based compound, Na4[Pr(H2O)5]2[IMo6O24]2 · 7H2O, which is composed of Anderson-type polyoxoanions linked by praseodymium cations to form a fascinating 3D open framework with “guest” sodium ions and water molecules residing in the channels, has been synthesized and characterized for the first time.
