Abstract
The study of the cycloplatination of [(η5-C5H5)Fe{(η5-C5H4)-CHN-(CH2)n-NMe2}] is described and the results obtained reveal that ligand with n = 2 is less prone to metallate than its analogue with n = 3. Electrochemical studies based on cyclic voltammetry of the platinum(II) complexes are also reported.
