Abstract
Three selenoarsenates, [Mn(dien)2]3[As3Se6]2 (dien = C4N3H13) (1) [Fe(en)3][As2Se6] (2) and [Mn(en)3][As2Se6] (3) (en = C2N2H8), have been synthesized with mild solvothermal route templated by transition metal amine complexes. The present compounds exhibit semiconducting properties and photoluminescence. The energy band gaps of the present compounds indicate they are potential materials for the efficient absorption of solar radiation in solar cell applications.
