Abstract
Compounds activate p53 dependent tumor suppressor pathway. In this study anthranilamide-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine conjugates activates tumor suppressors (p53, p21) and down regulation of oncogenic activity (Mdm2, MYCN) that lead to cell death in IMR-32 cells. In neuronal cancers p53 is tightly regulated by oncogenes such as Mdm2 and MYCN. P53 transcriptionally regulate genes such as p21, Bax, miR-34a and miR-605 and control the cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.
