Abstract
Five new and seven known oleanane-type triterpenoid saponins were isolated from the rhizomes of Anemone taipaiensis. All the compounds (including saponins, prosapogenins and sapogenins) were evaluated for cytotoxic activity against five human cancer cell lines.
