Abstract
Compound 53 displayed more effective antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa than the reference drug Lomefloxacin. Compounds with cis-cyclohexane side chains exhibited more effective antibacterial activities than their corresponding trans-isomers.
