Abstract
⺠ZnF2-Bi2O3-P2O5: MoO3 glass ceramics were prepared by melt quenching and thermal treatment techniques. ⺠XRD, SEM and DTA reveal the presence of different crystal phases. ⺠IR and Raman studies show the transformation of molybdenum ions from tetrahedral to octahedral units. ⺠ESR and optical absorption spectra confirm the presence of Mo5 + ion. ⺠Dielectric studies indicate the semiâconducting nature at higher concentration of MoO3.
