Abstract
► Photoacoustic measurements of energy-storage efficiency over a 90-nm spectral range in A. marina ► First direct observation of the trap energies of PSI and PSII ► Photosystem-specific contributions to the observed efficiency ► Maximum observed efficiency in A. marina (40 ± 1%) is higher than in S. leopoliensis (35 ± 1%). ► PSII trap in A. marina at 723 nm supports evidence that primary donor is Chl d at ChlD1 site.
