Abstract
⺠We have reconstituted functional Respiratory Complex II into phospholipid nanodiscs. ⺠Cardiolipin is essential for the stability and enzymatic activity of Complex II. ⺠The presence of cardiolipin curtails the production of superoxide by Complex II.
