Abstract
⺠Myrcene hydroxylases (CYP9T2, CYP9T3) from eastern and western Ips pini populations have 94% amino acid identity. ⺠Both enzymes accept myrcene, α-pinene, 3-carene, and (R)-(+)-limonene as substrates. ⺠CYP9T2 expression is not induced by its preferred substrate, myrcene.
