Abstract
- Water chickweed population HN02 evolves high-level resistance to tribenuron.
- Resistance was due to the reduced sensitivity of ALS to tribenuron.
- This altered ALS sensitivity was due to a Pro197 to Ser substitution in the ALS gene.
- HN02 exhibited various cross-resistance patterns to other ALS inhibitors.
