Abstract
- Two strains of Desmodesmus revealed different growth sensitivity to chloridazon.
- Under chloridazon treatment, cell cycle duration of CHD-tolerant strain was shorter than CHD-sensitive one.
- There is a relationship between cell development, photosynthetic activity, SOD content/activity in response to chloridazon.
- In adaptation to stress of Desmodesmus cells, Fe-SOD biosynthesis induction time override enzyme constitutive activity.
