Abstract
► Deltamethrin concentrations caused oxidative stress in Cyprinus carpio. ► Treatment with lycopene provided a protective effect against the oxidative stress induced by deltamethrin. ► However, further investigations are necessary to elucidate the exact mechanism of protection and the potential usefulness of lycopene as a protective agent against deltamethrin and other pesticide toxicity.
