Abstract
⺠Stilbene synthase gene expression in tomato resulted parthenocarpic fruits. ⺠Abnormal pollen development was due to synthesis of resveratrol in tomato flower tissues. ⺠The impairment of naringenin, coumaric and ferulic acids synthesis, caused parthenocarpy in tomato.
