Abstract
ⶠWe review roles of MADS-box genes in temperature dependent flowering responses. ⶠRoles for MADS-box genes in vernalization-induced flowering are used as examples. ⶠA potential role for SVP-like genes in winter bud dormancy is examined. ⶠRegulation of MADS-box genes by elevated temperature is also reviewed. ⶠWe conclude MADS-box genes regulate many temperature dependent flowering responses.
