Abstract
⺠Greater macroaggregate SOC and N contents were observed with maize than Calliandra. ⺠Low quality organic resources result in greater aggregate stability and a short-term accumulation of macroaggregate SOC and N. ⺠The addition of N fertilizers with low quality organic resources results in lower SOC, soil N and aggregation compared to the sole addition of low quality organic resources. ⺠Polyphenol concentration (i.e. biochemical recalcitrance) of ORs does not seem to influence SOC, soil N, and aggregate dynamics.
