Abstract
⺠Cultivation decreased the level and variability of soil enzyme activities. ⺠Bacterial community structure was highly specific to land use. ⺠Soil enzyme activities were primarily determined by SOM content. ⺠Microbiological variables showed no or only weak spatial structure at 0.5-10 m in visually uniform plots.
