Abstract
⺠Soil carbon and nitrogen content are best predictors of Antarctic cultivable fungal abundance. ⺠Soil pH and salinity are negatively correlated with cultivable fungal abundance. ⺠The Antarctic Peninsula has higher fungal species richness than Continental locations.
