Abstract
⺠Different biochars elicit variable changes in microbial diversity of forest soils. ⺠Actinobacteria are enriched when exposed to biochar treated soils. ⺠Taxa-specific changes can be tracked using a molecular-based nested ARISA PCR technique. ⺠Prior biochar exposure influences microbial community structure.
