Abstract
⺠RRM1 oxidation is solely responsible for oxidation-induced TDP-43 aggregations. ⺠Oxidized RRM1 loses nucleic acid-binding activity. ⺠Oxidation-induced RRM1 aggregation is caused by changes in protein conformation. ⺠The molecular basis of oxidation-induced RRM1 aggregation is proposed.
