Abstract
► Successfully delivered FITC/FITC-Dextran (70, 250 kDa) into canola protoplasts. ► Microbubble-assisted delivery method has high delivery efficiency and cell viability. ► Pores observed on canola cell membrane and cell wall when treated with microbubbles. ► Biomaterials are diffused into the cells once pathway is created. ► Collisions between microbubbles and cells or the bursting of microbubbles form pores.
