Abstract

âº Native LF is prone to aggregation below pH 5.5. âº LF can be immobilized onto NHS-activated agarose without loss of function or zinc. âº Decrease in LF activity near pH 6 does not correlate with change of metal content. âº LF's zinc ion dissociates between pH 4 and 5.
