Abstract
► Peptide nucleic acid (PNA) was used as facilitator to enhance DNAzyme activity. ► Binding of PNA to RNA substrate improved DNAzyme-mediated cleavage of long RNA. ► Facilitator PNA and DNAzyme suppressed imatinib-resistance in leukemic cells.
