Abstract
⺠DOR is a dynamic protein undergoing nucleo-cytoplasmic shuttling under basal state. ⺠DOR transiently localizes at the nucleolus prior to its nuclear exit. ⺠Nucleolus integrity does not affect DOR trafficking and function on basal autophagy. ⺠NES signal is essential for DOR nucleolar exit. ⺠DOR is a scaffold protein that regulates both basal and stress-induced autophagy.
