Abstract
⺠Investigated the role of coilin in the DNA damage response. ⺠Depletion of coilin increased levels of γH2AX in etoposide treated cells. ⺠Proliferation rate of etoposide treated U2OS cells was influenced by coilin. ⺠Coilin overexpression in treated cells increases percent of cells in S and G2/M. ⺠Transfected coilin inhibits the localization of endogenous coilin in treated cells.
