Abstract
⺠NUPR1 regulates p21 in p53-competent breast cancer cells. ⺠We have studied chemoresistance induced by NUPR1 in p53-null triple-negative breast cancer cells. ⺠We also have investigated modalities to overcome this chemoresistance. ⺠We show a NUPR1-PI-3-K/Akt phospho-p21 axis that enhances chemoresistance in breast cancer cells.
