Abstract
⺠The movement of BKCa channels in the COS-7 cell is highly confined. ⺠The movement of BKCa channel is significantly increased by actin cytoskeleton disruption. ⺠Mutational analyses demonstrate that a single residue in actin-binding motif of channel is critical. ⺠The direct interaction between BKCa channels and actin cytoskeleton is critical for restricting the movement of channels.
