Abstract
⺠In this study, we discover and report the enzymatic target of BoNT/F5. ⺠Using mass spectrometry, we determine that BoNT/F5 cleaves synaptobrevin-2. ⺠BoNT/F5 cleaves synaptobrevin-2 between 91L and 92E. ⺠Synaptobrevin-2 cleavage between 91L and 92E is a novel site for any BoNT cleavage.
