Abstract
⺠ROD1 is involved in nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD). ⺠ROD1 is shown to interact with core NMD factors, such as UPF1 and UPF2, and to share common regulated target genes with UPF1. ⺠ROD1 is required for destabilization of a known NMD substrate, as demonstrated through a reporter system.
