Abstract
⺠NTRC allows the use of NADPH for redox regulation in plastids of green and heterotrophic plant organs. ⺠NTRC is the most relevant reductant of plastid 2-Cys Prxs, and controls its level of overoxidation. ⺠Chloroplast redox homeostasis is required for lateral root development.
