Abstract
⺠General properties of the chassis required for synthetic biology are explored. ⺠This entails essential functions such as scaffolds, safety valves and the like. ⺠Living cells trap information via Maxwell's demon-like entities, such as septins. ⺠This goes against stable scaling-up processes. ⺠Combining in vivo approaches with biochemical reactors may be the way forward.
