Abstract
► PTIP BRCT5/6 domains have a high binding affinity for the γH2AX tail. ► We determine the crystal structure of BRCT5/6-γH2AX tail complex at 2.15 Å resolution. ► Our study provides new clues to identify the role of PTIP in DDR pathways.
