Abstract
⺠We study the sequence context effect on the pairing modes of T·T mismatches. ⺠We demonstrate the presence of preferential pairing mode in T·T mismatches. ⺠The pairing mode with flanking purines differs from that with flanking pyrimidines. ⺠These different pairing modes usually undergo exchange at room temperature.
