Abstract
⺠Different functions of the conventional and novel PKC isoforms in platelets have been revealed and compared. ⺠The characteristic functions may be established by unique activation mechanisms and patterns of substrate phosphorylation. ⺠For identifying the substrate proteins for PKC isoforms in a living cell, new methodology is available.
