Abstract
► We describe a simple method for derivation of ES cells from chicken blastoderms. ► ES cells can be differentiated into each of the three germ layers. ► They generate bone (mesoderm), endoderm and neuroectoderm (neurons, glia). ► The methods are validated for 3 different cell lines.
