Abstract
⺠hES cells express TRKB and TRKC genes that are important for single hES cell survival. ⺠The expression of the TRKC gene is dependent on SOX2 expression. ⺠The TRKC gene contains conserved SOX binding sites within the TRKC regulatory region. ⺠SOX2 binds to and regulates expression of the TRKC gene.
