Abstract
► Low temperatures and cryoprotectants effects on sperm motility of Ostrea edulis. ► For short-term semen conservation until 3 h the temperature of 3 °C was selected. ► EG and MetOH (up to 20%) and Me2SO (up to 10%) were selected as cryoprotectants. ► Freezing rate of −3 °C/min using 15% EG gave the best sperm motility after thawing.
