Abstract
â¶ Switchgrass had the lowest SOC and C and N mineralization rates. â¶ Switchgrass sustained the least active microbial community. â¶ Switchgrass may sequester more soil C by having a slower rate of C turnover than the other treatments. â¶ SOC under the buffalograss and sideoats grama was nearly twice what it was under switchgrass.
