Abstract
⺠Euhadra quaesita transfers specific mucus into a mating partner during mating. ⺠We examined the effect of the mucus on subsequent matings in the recipient. ⺠Intermating interval was longer in recipients of mucus. ⺠Mucus injection inhibited mating in the injected snails.
