Abstract
⺠Social learning plays a role in boldness behaviour of wild zebrafish. ⺠We find differences in social learning between wild and domesticated zebrafish. ⺠Wild zebrafish are timid, but are emboldened after interacting with bolder fish. ⺠Bold zebrafish do not become less bold after interacting with timid ones. ⺠Boldness is mediated by social learning, but we find no evidence for conformity.
