Abstract
⺠Competitor relatedness affects contest behaviour in a parasitoid wasp. ⺠There was less aggression when competitors were more closely related. ⺠There was less aggression when competitors had developed on the same host. ⺠Goniozus legneri uses both genetic and environment kin discrimination mechanisms. ⺠Resource value effects did not completely override kin recognition effects.
