Abstract
⺠We investigated site fidelity of zebra sharks to an aggregation site. ⺠Different mechanisms drive inter- and intraseasonal site fidelity patterns. ⺠Seasonal patterns are probably driven by endogenous cues such as photoperiod. ⺠Intraseasonal patterns are probably direct responses to unfavourable conditions. ⺠Abiotic variables may predict changes in movement under different future scenarios.
