Abstract
► We examined the mating system and dispersal behaviour of the collared pika. ► Juvenile pikas dispersed an average of 536 m from their natal dens. ► There was no sex-biased dispersal in the population. ► This collared pika population displayed a largely polygynandrous mating system.
