Abstract
⺠We studied the visit rate to risky and safe flowers in social and solitary bees. ⺠We found that solitary bees responded similarly to safe and risky flowers. ⺠However, social bees strongly rejected flowers where we simulated a predator attempt. ⺠Our results suggest that social bees used alarm signals to avoid dangerous flowers.
