Abstract
⺠We use acoustic predator models to investigate male blue monkeys' alarm calls. ⺠Results indicate that 'hacks' are functionally referential, predator-specific calls. ⺠Contextually relevant information may be contained in the call-series structure. ⺠Contrary to earlier findings, calling rates are lower when urgency is higher.
