Abstract
⺠Male and female rockhopper penguins use different foraging areas during incubation. ⺠Male rockhopper penguins feed on higher trophic levels compared to females. ⺠Male and female rockhopper penguins overlap in their niche space. ⺠Energetic requirements are the driving force in spatial segregation between sexes.
